Unlock Iphone for Sprint Network

Article by Timothy Ellis

After being overwhelmed by thousands of tutorials about jailbreaking, I wanted to write an article about jailbreaking for newbie’s. There are tutorials out there for jailbreaking your iPad or iPhone that could confuse Steve Jobs. If you are undecided on if you should jailbreak your iPad or iPhone, this article should get you caught up to speed.

Jailbreaking your iPad or iPhone basically means you override Apple’s control over your iDevice. Apple controls what kind of apps you install on your device; they also control which carrier you can use your iPhone with. In technical terms, to jailbreak is to allow a device to run code or system modifications, that hasn’t been sanctioned by Apple. When you jailbreak your iDevice, you can customize it to your own desires, not Apples.

If you think that you’re on information overload now, wait till the Verizon iPhone is released. Yes that’s right, the Verizon iPhone has been announced to be release for early February 2011. This means there will be another million tutorials on how to unlock it and use it on the sprint network.

If you’re not a developer or experience hacker, the tutorials online will just confuse you! If you’re not an accomplished developer or hacker, I suggest you pay for a jailbreak software to get the job done right, and fast! If you attempt to jailbreak your iPad or iPhone without the proper technical knowledge you could damage your iDevice and void your warrantee.

What should I look for when I want to purchase a jailbreaking software for my iPhone? This is one of the main questions I receive in my email from people looking to jailbreak their iPad or iPhone. yea for you!!!! I made this comment to their videos lets see if it gets posted…. ok… so … you are not really unlocking the phone for Sprint, you are only forcing it to the sprint network, which any Verizon Wireless phone will do. You are still paying for Verizon service. Just try to call Sprint to activate the phone. It will not work. I am sure they don’t have the iPhone ESN/MEID loaded in their system to activate.

I work for sprint and there is not way to un lock it for Sprint…At&t and sprint work off 2 totally differfent networks and as far as I know there is no way for a gsm phone (att&t) to work on a cdma (sprint) network.

No, sprint network won’t take unlocked phone, same with verizon. Only other network that work other than ATT in the u.s. is T-mobile. The new 3G Iphone is impossible to work with Tmobile due to broadband difference.
